Greater Help is on the Way: WORLDWATER® & SOLAR TECHNOLOGIES CONTINUES TO SEND AID TO PUERTO RICO

More solar powered water purification units are to arrive on the Island; WORLDWATER® & SOLAR TECHNOLOGIES CONTINUES TO SEND AID TO PUERTO RICO

PRINCETON, NEW JERESEY, USA, February 20, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- WORLDWATER® & SOLAR TECHNOLOGIES CONTINUES TO SEND AID TO PUERTO RICO

(PRINCETON, NJ – February 15, 2018) WorldWater® & Solar Technologies, Inc (WWST), America’s longest continuing solar technology company, is preparing to send two additional MobileMax Pure™ Reverse Osmosis (RO) units, purchased by the Los Padres Foundation, to the University of Puerto Rico at Humacao. WWST, the sole proprietors of this cutting-edge technology, built and tested these units, which are capable of pumping, purifying, and desalinating water as well as providing clean, renewable power and, as an option, communications.

The two Mobile MaxPure™ (MMP) RO units will join a third unit, also purchased by the Los Padres Foundation and shipped to Puerto Rico in December, where it is already in use at the University of Puerto Rice, Humacao, providing the local people with clean water and power. Once all three units are operational, they will be capable of pumping and purifying up to 12,000 gallons per day of saltwater, brackish water, and chemically polluted water.

“The unparalleled power of these units is noteworthy,” said Quentin Kelly, Chair and CEO of WWST. “Operating three of our units in combination moves the needle in supplying clean water to the people of Puerto Rico; and there are additional benefits derived from having access to affordable power for running lights, tools, equipment, or recharging electronics.”

Reiterating Mr. Kelly’s sentiment, Vice President of Sales and Marketing David Hammes added that “Ensuring the long-term affordability of the water and power created by our technology is what sets our company apart. These Mobile MaxPure™ RO units provide drinking water at less than 1 cent per gallon in addition to continuing power.”

In addition to providing much needed relief to the population of Puerto Rico damaged by hurricanes last year, the technology driving the units will be used in the education of engineering and science students at the University and to promote preparedness and resilience.
