Thunder Energies Confirms the Directionality of the Neutron Source and its Delivery to Europe

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla., Dec. 12, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dr. Ruggero M. Santilli, Chief Scientist of Thunder Energies Corporation, a publicly traded company with stock symbol (OTC:TNRG), announces the confirmation of the directionality of the neutron source and the delivery of the first production unit to a European customer in accordance with our announced release (http://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2017/06/05/1008093/0/en/Thunder-Energies-Receives-Down-Payment-on-Equipment-Producing-a-Directional-Neutron-Flux-and-Predicts-Profitability-for-its-Construction.html).

Dr. Santilli states: "As part of the delivery process, our European customer sent to our facilities in Florida a scientist with a neutron detector for produced Advacam (www.advacam.com) specifically produced to detect low energy (thermal) neutrons in both their numbers per seconds and their energy for the conduction of comprehensive verification of the various functions and components of our Directional Neuron Source (patent pending) prior to its delivery. These tests confirmed in full the directionality of our neutron source in the sense of producing on demand a flux in the desired direction of neutrons synthesized from the hydrogen gas. The same tests confirmed that the produced neutrons do indeed have low energy of the order of a few KeV. Finally, the tests confirmed that our directional neutron source can produce on demand the desired number of neutrons, from a few neutrons per seconds to tens of thousands of neutrons per seconds, with the desired energy from a few KeV to a few hundred KeV (http://thunder-energies.com/docs/dns1-info.pdf).

The verification of these features is important for the various applications of our Directional Neutron Source. As an example, the scanning of suitcases in an airport for possible concealed nuclear weapons requires a small flux of low energy neutrinos and cannot be done for safety with high energy neutrinos. A similar situation occurs for scanning the walls of mines for the presence and concentration of precious elements, while the scanning of deep welds in military naval construction requires a high flux of high energy neutrinos (http://www.thunder-energies.com/index.php/ct-menu-item-18/11-articles/19-article-10).
