Fair and dry weather continues across Belize

By Horace Palacio: Belizeans can look forward to another lovely day with mostly sunny skies and just a few passing clouds. The National Meteorological Service of Belize has issued its morning forecast, indicating warm conditions nationwide and very limited chances of rain.

Temperatures will be comfortably warm along the coast, with highs around 88°F (31°C) and lows of 81°F (27°C). Inland areas are expected to be hotter, peaking near 96°F (36°C), with nighttime temperatures dropping to 72°F (22°C). Cooler conditions are forecast for the hills, with highs near 82°F (28°C) and lows dropping to 67°F (19°C).

Mariners can expect light chop with waves of 2-4 feet along with easterly winds of approximately 10-15 knots.

The outlook for Saturday and Saturday night calls for a continuation of this pleasant weather pattern, with only the chance of isolated showers.

Remember: Even with mostly sunny skies, it’s important to protect yourself from the sun. Wear sunscreen, a hat, and seek shade during the hottest parts of the day.
