By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Ministry of Sustainable Development and the Youth Empowerment Alliance are joining in becoming “Greening across Belize Ambassadors.”

Minister Orlando Habet, the Cayo Northeast Executive Committee and the Youth Empowerment Alliance are inviting youths to join in their planting initiative on April 21^st in recognition of Earth Day 2024.

The theme for Earth Day 2024 is Planet vs. Plastics.

The tree planting commences at the Santa Cruz Park in Santa Elena at 7:30am and then at the Independence Park in San Ignacio at 8:30am.
