Ore Oduba teased the Sports Relief 2018 celebrity boxing match was going to be brutal.

And viewers watching the bi-annual charity event on BBC One on Friday night took to Twitter as they watched Love Island's Camilla Thurlow, 28, and presenter Helen Skelton, 34, beat each other up in the ring.

The pair - who had undergone professional training ahead of the match - didn't hold back, with onlookers describing the segment as 'tasteless' and 'uncomfortable'.

Helen made her way into the ring cheered on by her rugby player husband Richie Myler; while Camilla barely raised a smile as she strutted out, her Love Island boyfriend Jamie Jewitt ringside.

During the match, the former Blue Peter presenter showed off her strength and agility as she delivered a number of blows, while her reality star opponent struggled to pack a punch.

After three-rounds, which left both of them out out breath and nursing sore bruises, Helen came out victorious.

However, the spectacle left viewers at home somewhat disturbed, as they watched the two TV personalities attack each other brutally.

Having won the match, Helen said afterwards: 'This has been tough as it’s involved taking on another personality – I have never hit anyone in the face. But I didn’t want to let my coach down, I wanted to try and do the sport justice and get the win.

Things got dicey for Vanessa at one point, when she was reprimanded by the referee for lifting her knee at one point, and told she would receive a formal warning if she did it again.

Despite this, the All Fired Up songstress won the match, seen to get emotional as she was presented with the boxing belt.

Meanwhile, Michael McIntyre burst into tennis champion Andy Murray's hotel room in the middle of the night and challenged him to a game of trivia, each question worth a whopping £5k for charity.

And there was a Spice Girls round, complete with a real life member of the band in attendance to ask the questions in the form of Geri Horner.

Ginger Spice herself strutted into the hotel room at St George’s Park in a tiny tennis ensemble comprising of a vest top and skirt, brandishing a racket, where she plonked herself onto the bed with sleepy Andy.

'Which Spice Girls are missing right now?' Comedian Michael asked the slightly disorientated sportsman Andy.

'Posh, Baby, Scary...' Andy reeled off, somewhat ironically nearly missing off Sporty - but finally remembering the fifth member.

Geri took over the questioning after that, seeing how well Andy knew the lyrics of the recently reunited girl band.
