November 21, 2017 |

In Nigeria, Africa’s largest ethanol plant is set for commissioning in about two months, producing an expected 120,000 liters per day in Ota Ogun state. The plant is expected to supply a third of its production to the wider group of companies under the Sona Group while the rest will be supplied to the domestic food and drinks sector that currently relies on imports. Fuel ethanol does not appear to be on the cards in the near future.
